Louis JADOT (Beaune) -- 2015 Tasted from Bottle

(Originally published 8 August 2018.)

My reviews of 2015 Jadot wines tasted from barrel are here, here, here, and here.

2015 Puligny-Montrachet    1er Cru   Les Folatières (Domaine des Héritiers Louis Jadot)
This wine is mineral and pure with lanolin showing. 92+/A

2015 Corton-Charlemagne (Domaine des Héritiers Louis Jadot)
The Corton-Charlemagne is medium-weight and forward with minerality and good length. 93/A-

and in red:

2015 Beaune    1er Cru   Clos des Ursules (Domaine des Héritiers Louis Jadot)
Jadot’s flagship Beaune-Clos des Ursules is a great success. The wine is tightly-wound and medium-weight with density, intensity, energy, and dark fruits. But typical of this vineyard, it will take plenty of aging to show its true greatness. 94/A

2015 Gevrey-Chambertin    1er Cru   Clos Saint-Jacques   (Domaine Louis Jadot)
Last, in what has become another of Jadot’s flagship wines, the Gevrey-Clos St-Jacques features red and dark fruits with the touch of gaminess that is typical of the vineyard. The wine is penetrating and shows very good acidity. 94(+)/A
