2015 Gevrey-Chambertin
There was a time when Rousseau’s village Gevrey was not a standout among wines of the village. But those days are receding further in the past, and the estate is now making top wines at all levels. This wine has dark plum fruit and is dense, long, and pure. 92+/A
2015 Charmes-Chambertin
Here we have good density and length. The fruit is dark, reflecting the fact that about 2/3 of the vines are in the Mazoyères-Chambertin climat. 94/A
2015 Chambertin-Clos-de-Bèze
The Clos-de-Bèze dark fruits with slight animality are here. The wine is dense, long, light, pure, and layered — just pure pleasure to drink. 96/A
