Based on very quick tastes.

Dr. CRUSIUS

2018 (Schlossböckelheim) Felsenberg Riesling Beerenauslese
Crusius's Beerenauslese is sweet, pure, and long with apricot fruit and elegance. 94/B+

Schlossgut DIEL

2018 Burg Layer Schlossberg Riesling Kabinett
This outstanding Kabinett features intense Riesling aromas, peach skin fruit, roundness and some fullness, but also overall elegance. 93/A

DÖNNHOFF

2018 (Oberhausen) Brücke Riesling Grosses Gewächs
Dönnhoff’s Brücke, one of a slew of GG’s the estate made in 2018, displays peach skin fruit in a round body with finesse, purity, elegance, and length.  93/A

EMRICH-SCHÖNLEBER

2018 (Monzingen) Auf der Ley Riesling Grosses Gewächs
The Auf der Ley has peach skin fruit with a touch of vanilla, and is light and elegant. 93(+)/A

KRUGER-RUMPF

2018 Bingerbrücker Abtei Rupertsberg Riesling Spätlese
This wine is mineral and penetrating with an outstanding sugar/acid balance so that the wine doesn’t come off as overly sweet. 92/A

Joh. Bapt. SCHÄFER

2018 (Dorsheim) Goldloch Riesling Kabinett
This lovely Kabinett has an intense, mineral nose. The mouth shows excellent acidity, slight sweetness, depth, peach skin fruit, and a very long finish. 93/A

2017 (Dorsheim) Goldloch Riesling Auslese Gold Capsule
Plenty of botrytis evident in both nose and mouth here — this wine stylistically is a Beerenauslese (and meets the technical qualifications, too, I’m sure). It is pure and deep with very good acidity. 95/A
