To my taste, Colin-Morey’s wines are good, but for some years have not been as ravishing as they once were. I was a bit hesitant to make that statement, but then I checked with some friends involved in importing and selling the wines around the world, but they were in complete agreement with me.

The wines below are all white.
2015 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Les Champlots
This wine is medium-weight and fairly rich, especially for Saint-Aubin, and it shows minerality. 90+/B+
2015 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Caillerets
The Chassagne-Caillerets is intense, pure, and deep with some richness to it. It should develop well. 92/A
2015 Meursault 1er Cru Perrières
This Perrières is round, ripe, and powerful but it lacks nervosity and tension that one expects from the vineyard, and there is a tropical element to the fruit. It’s not unpleasant to drink, but when one thinks of what Perrières can and should be . . . . 90/B+
