The estate has long been one of my favorites. For many years, it was known as Agrapart; now the current principal, Pascal Agrapart, has added his first name to the estate, although not all labels may yet reflect that fact.

Seven wines are produced, of which I review four here. All wines are from estate grapes on the Côte des Blancs.

NV Champagne  Extra Brut  Grand Cru  Complantée

This wine is from six different grape types all interplanted in the vineyard: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and older grape types that are now rare in Champagne: Arbane, Petit Meslier, and Pinot Blanc. The current bottling (which I tasted) is primarily from the 2009 vintage. It is pure, light, and ethereal with citric (primarily lime) fruit.  94/A+

NV Champagne  Extra Brut  Blanc de Blancs  Grand Cru   Minéral

The current release is mainly from the 2016 vintage and from vineyards in Avize and Cramant. The wine is pure, deep, light, ethereal, and elegant with citric fruit. 95/A+

2016 Champagne Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs  Grand Cru  Avizoise

Lighter than the Minéral, more ethereal, yet intense. As the name indicates, the grapes are entirely from the village of Avize. 95/A+

2016 Champagne  Brut Nature,  Blanc de Blancs  Grand Cru  Vénus

Stony, pure, light, intense, penetrating. Entirely from a parcel in Avize that is worked by horse and by hand. 96/A+
