This estate, with phenomenal holdings, has impressed me with each wine I’ve encountered during the past several years.
2017 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Clos Prieur
Typical dark and red plum fruits here, a smooth texture, and medium-weight. (91-93)
2017 Chambertin-Clos de Bèze
This is a wine that shows up many of its neighbors as good, but not up to what really could be done in the vintage. The wine has purity, precision, depth, and length to go with its red fruits and medium-light body.(94-97)
Pierre GELIN
2017 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Clos Prieur
This wine is expressive with dark plum fruits, good energy, and excellent precision. It is a fine expression of Clos Prieur characteristics. (92-94)
2017 Chambertin-Clos de Bèze
This wine is medium-light, creamy, and elegant, but lacks some in definition and freshness. Despite the pedigree here, I preferred the Clos Prieur. (90-92)
HARMAND-GEOFFROY
2017 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Lavaux Saint-Jacques
This is good, but not great, Lavaux Saint-Jacques That shows red fruits, some energy, and a medium-light body. (90-93)
2017 Mazis-Chambertin
This wine is medium-light with good acidity and freshness, some tannins, and red fruits. It’s a pleasing wine, but not very expressive of its terroir. (92-94)
Philippe NADDEF
2017 Mazis-Chambertin
This wine shows finesse, lightness on the palate, dark fruits, and good length and purity. I used to visit this estate regularly and stopped because I found the wines over-extracted; the style most evidently has changed here. (92-94)

This wine has dark and red plum fruit, lightness on the palate, and good intensity and energy for the vintage. (92-95)

This wine shows a fair amount of extraction, a lot of fruit, and some creaminess of texture, but could use better balance. (90-92)
