Generally very good wines here, with a few touches of irregularity.

2017 (Martinsthal) Langenberg Riesling GG
Just not coming together. Some minerality, but doesn’t seem fully ripe or harmonious. I tasted this wine on two separate occasions and had the identical reaction both times. ?

2017 (Erbach) Hohenrain Riesling GG
Floral, orange zest. Smooth, pure, lanolin, orange zest, finesse. 92+/A

2017 (Erbach) Siegelsberg Riesling GG
Perfumed, mineral nose. Medium-weight, spicy orange zest, good concentration, length, penetration, energy. 93(+)/A

2017 (Erbach) Marcobrunn Riesling GG
Salty, spicy nose with orange peel. In mouth, some juiciness, good length, spicy, dense yellow fruits, minerality, freshness. 93/A

Spicy pear nose. Well-structured, spicy, some minerality, crisp, light, energetic. 92(+)/A

2017 (Erbach) Sielgelsberg Riesling GG
Floral nose. In mouth, good depth, some juicy minerality, pure, penetrating, calm. 92/A

2017 (Kiedrich) Gräfenberg Riesling GG
Harmony, intensity, depth, balance, some floral apricot fruit. Medium weight, good finesse. Needs time.  92+/A
