Even after an extra year in bottle, this wine is still firm, tight, and closed, but it is promising: stony, sculpted, elegant. 91(+)/A-

Floral and limestone notes in the nose. The mouth is smooth, pure, limestone vanilla, long, precise. 94/A+

The nose here is closed with slight butter overtones. The mouth has nice acidity, slight butter, nice mineralogy. Good length. 92/A
2017 (Retzstadt) Himmelspfad Silvaner GG
Butter popcorn nose. Clear, round, some butter on the palate. One-dimensional for now, but pleasing. Some limestone showing. 89+/B
