The Dujac Père & Fils wines have continued to improve, and as you see here, I put them on the same level as their peers for domaine village wines, quite an accomplishment.
2016 Gevrey-Chambertin (Dujac Fils & Père)
The nose and mouth show blueberries and the wine is fresh, precise, and pure. (90-93)
2016 Morey-Saint-Denis (Dujac Fils & Père)
This wine is steely and pure with red fruits and freshness. (91-94)
2016 Chambolle-Musigny (Dujac Fils & Père)
The Fils & Père Chambolle is denser than the Morey and fresh in its red berry fruit. There’s very good acidity here. (90-93)
2016 Morey-Saint-Denis (Domaine Dujac)
Dujac’s estate Morey is pure and deep with steely red currant fruit and good length. (91-94)
2016 Chambolle-Musigny (Domaine Dujac)
The premier cru Gruenchers vineyard yielded so little that all was declassified into this wine. It is dense with red cherry fruit that is pure and steely and there is enough structure for good aging potential. (90-94)
