This climat is on the Puligny side of the Route Nationale 7, situated below the Vide Bourse premier cru. The nose is toasty, the mouth is medium-weight and luxurious. 91/A
2019 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru En Remilly
The vines here are 70 years-old, normally giving yields of only about 25 hl/ha. There’s more minerality here than in the Houillières, but less structure. 90/B+
2019 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru La Romanée
This wine is opulent and rich with length and toastiness, and overall balance. 92/A
2019 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Pucelles
Switching villages, the Puligny-Pucelles is toasty in the nose. The mouth shows minerality, finesse, layering, and freshness. With a bit more structure, the wine would score even higher. About 13.5% alcohol here. 92/A
2019 Bâtard-Montrachet
The Bâtard-Montrachet is rich and opulent with toastiness. It show finesse, but lacks just a touch of depth and structure compared to a still better wine. 92(+)/B+
2018 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Pucelles
Minerality here and showing more structure and finesse than the 2019 version. 93/A
2019 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Clos Saint-Jean rouge
This is a rustic wine, still a little disjointed and in need of more time to smooth out. Made entirely from destemmed fruit. 88(+)/B
