This is from Leccia’s oldest parcel of vines on schist soils. Pure and steely with white and yellow fruits. 91/A
2018 Patrimonio rouge
This wine is entirely from the Niellucciù grape, grown on clay-limestone soils, and raised in tank. The wine features mineral red fruits and is elegant, long, and intense. 13.5% stated alcohol. 91/A-
2018 Patrimonio Pettale rouge
This wine, too, is entirely from Niellucciù grown own clay-limestone soils, and raised in stainless steel tank. But here the vines are on the slope. There’s more power and strength here, and despite the elevated alcohol (14.5%), it keeps its freshness and balance. There is an attractive smokiness to the red fruits. 92(+)/A
