2016 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Beaux Monts
This has turned out to be a sensational Beaux Monts, showing violet aromas and flavors, dark fruits, minerality with plenty of tension and energy. The wine is medium-weight with a smooth texture. Catch it quick before it closes down or after it’s aged fifteen years or so. 95/A+
2016 Echézeaux
The Echézeaux is more closed than the Beaux Monts. It’s tighter and very straight right, less expressive for now. The the wine shows depth and great minerality. Expect to wait 12-15 years, but then you should have an excellent wine. 94+/A
