As one would expect, another very successful vintage from Jean-Marie Fourrier. These wines and others are reviewed from tank and barrel here.

The compression of quality in the 2015 is quite evident with these wines, with not all that much difference in quality showing between the village wine and the premiers crus.
2015 Gevrey-Chambertin
The nose shows perfumed red fruits. The mouth still shows some oak to go with red fruits and overall elegance. 92/A
2015 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Les Cherbaudes
The Gevrey-Cherbaudes is round with dark fruit aromas. The mouth shows dark cherry fruit and a bit less tension than usual (that’s the vintage). 93/A
2015 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Combe aux Moînes
Fourier's Gevrey-Cômbe aux Moînes is light and pure with strawberry and cherry fruit. The wine seems to float on the tongue — surprising as this is a warm area due to the fact that it is in a former quarry. 93+/A
2015 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Clos Saint-Jacques
The Clos Saint-Jacques is has dark fruit aromas and flavors with roundness, plus the hallmark Saint-Jacques gaminess. The wine shows elegance, but also more substance than the preceding wines. 94+/A
