2016 Aloxe-Corton
The nose is still reduced here, but the mouth is deep, intense, energetic, kinetic cassis fruit. 92+/A
2016 Corton
The Corton, from white soils, is chalky and displays more dark fruits than its 2017 counterpart, and there’s also some spice here.. The wine is deep, pure and medium-weight with density of fruit, some power, and good length. 95(+)/A
