For the most part, this selection of wines seems more about the vintage than the respective terroirs. There’s a touch of tropical fruit to several of them and except for the Combettes, terroir is not a strong element. Perhaps with time they will shape up?

2015 Puligny-Montrachet
This wine is rich and dense with just a bit of tropical quality to the fruit. 88/B+
2015 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Perrières
The Perrières is light with minerality but it lacks the definition and penetration of a still better wine. 89/B
2015 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Champ Canet
Sauzet’s Champ Canet is mineral in the nose and mouth, but here, too, there is a slight hint of tropical fruit. 90/B+
2015 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Combettes
Here, finally, is a wine more about the terroir than the vintage. The Combettes shows Puligny minerality, finesse, length, and elegance. 92/A
