Domaine DUBLÈRE (Savigny-les-Beaune) -- 2017 Part II: Whites Tasted from Barrel and Tank

As mentioned in the previous review, harvesting began on 2 September.

2017 Bourgogne   Chardonnay    Millerands
With the outstanding quality of whites in 2017, you can get some great deals at the Bourgogne level, and this is one of them. The wine shows an edgy acidity with minerality, crystallinity, depth, and energy. (88-90)

2017 Savigny-les-Beaune    1er Cru   Aux Vergelesses
Here we have typical Savigny minerality with crispness, purity, Savigny structure, and knife-sharp acidity.  (89-92)

2017 Chassagne-Montrachet    1er Cru   Les Chenevottes
From vines planted in 1933, this wine is mineral and penetrating with good structure and energy. It is classic Chassagne. (92-94)

2017 Chassagne-Montrachet    1er Cru   Les Vergers
The Chassagne-Vergers is mineral with more finesse and lightness than the Chenevottes. Very good length here. (92-94)

2017 Chassagne-Montrachet   1er Cru   Les Chaumées
Last of the three Chassagnes, the Chaumées is less open in the nose than the others. The mouth is mineral and stony with roundness and not quite as much structure as the two other Chassagnes. (91-94)

2017 Corton-Charlemagne
This wine is steely, tightly-wound, deep, and pure — a classic for Corton-Charlemagne. (94-96)
