Terrebrune is one of my handful of favorite Bandol estates. Certified organic.
2020 Bandol blanc
This attractive wine has salty aromas and flavors and is pure with a round texture. 89/A-
2020 Bandol rosé
This nose and mouth have pleasing salinity to go with light strawberry and violets. There is almost a sense of weightlessness on the palate, along with good intensity and length. This is a rosé for the table not for the poolside. Cork closure. 60% Mourvèdre, the rest is Grenache and Cinsault. 13% stated alcohol. 91/A
2017 Bandol rouge
2017 is another excellent vintage, but there was more heat and stress on the vines than in the outstanding 2016 vintage. The dark earthy nose shows the Mourvèdre base. The wine is light on the tongue, elegant, pure, firm, and deep in its dark fruits. 92/A
2016 Bandol rouge
This wine is classic Bandol in the nose with pure, deep dark fruits. In the mouth, the wine is medium-weight with pure, delicious, well-defined, intense dark cherry fruit. You can begin drinking this wine now, but the balance is such that it has decades of life ahead. Cork closure. 14.4% stated alcohol. 93+/A
