This historic domaine is certified organic. It is a bit under-the-radar, but it is consistently a fine source for Jura wines.
2016 Côtes-du-Jura Corail
Following an ancient tradition now rarely seen any more, this wine is a co-fermentation and maceration of all five of the Jura grapes: Pinot Noir, Trousseau, Poulsard, Chardonnay, and Savagnin. The wine is salty and mineral with red fruits and iron showing. 12.5% stated alcohol. 90/A
2016 Côtes-du-Jura Pinot Noir
Medium-weight with freshness and red fruits. This wine is entirely from destemmed fruit and is raised in foudre (very large oval casks). 12.5% stated alcohol. 90/A
2019 Côtes-du-Jura Chardonnay En Treize Vent
This wine is produced in very small quantities from terraced old vines in a lieu-dit known as En Treize Vent. The wine is light, fresh and mineral with just a hint of caramel. 14% stated alcohol, but the wine doesn’t seem overly alcoholic. 89/A-
2019 Côtes-du-Jura La Naturé
Naturé is an alternative name for Savagnin. The wine is rich with hazelnut and walnut aromas and flavors, and it has freshness from the good acidity. 91/A
2017 Côtes-du-Jura Tradition
This is a blend at harvest of 1/3 Savagnin and 2/3 Chardonnay, raised several years in barrel and topped up.The wine is fresh with walnut aromas and flavors and only a slight oxidation hint. 91/A
