I can’t recall ever having had a disappointing wine from Clemens Busch, so these wines are no surprise. We’ve moved to the Lower Mosel, and so richer, more powerful wines than those in the Mittle Mosel.

Mineral, nervy, clear, pure, spicy. 93/A

Mineral, slaty, medium-light, energetic, some salinity. 93+/A


2021 (Pünderlich) Marienburg Fahrlay Terrassen Riesling GG

Crisp, medium-light, pure, stony, long, complete. 93/A


2021 (Pünderlich) Marienburg Rothenpfad Riesling GG

Mineral, spicy, clear, but denser and a bit heavier than Marienburg. 92+/A

Nervy, mineral, pure, energetic, spicy, dense, medium-weight. 93+/A
