Yellow peach, reductive, but less strict than the Hofberg below. 93/A


2020 (Piesport) Goltdtröpfchen Riesling GG

Lean for Goldtröpfchen, but deep and nervy, good acidity. 92+/A


2020 (Drohn) Hofberg Riesling GG 

Yellow peach, reductive, pure, steely. 93/A


2020 (Leiwen) Laurentiuslay Riesling GG 

Less strict than the previous Grans-Fassians, good acidity, round, but trailing the others just a touch in definition. 91/A-




Schloss LIESER


2020 (Piesport) Goltdtröpfchen Riesling GG 

Very reductive, lean, nervy, energetic, penetrating. 94/A




Nik WEIS - ST. URBANS-HOF


2020 (Piesport) Goltdtröpfchen Riesling GG 

More traditional style than two other Goldtröpfchen here; yellow peach, excellent acidity, good length, nervosity. More forward than Lieser. 93/A


2020 (Leiwen) Laurentiuslay Riesling GG 

Rounder, less penetrating than the Grans-Fassian Laurentiuslay, more power, still somewhat neutral. 91+/A-
