There are some good wines in this set, but not at the overall level of the Schweigen wines or the wines from these producers that I have seen in certain other vintages.

KRANZ

2020 (Ilbesheim) Kalmit Spätburgunder GG

Some minerality to dark fruits here, medium-light in weight, but on the whole, this wine lacks generosity. 87/C

Ökonomierat REBHOLZ

2017 (Siebeldingen) Im Sonnenschein Spätburgunder GG

Tobacco nose. Medium-full body, round, dark fruits, juicy, good depth, length. 90/B+

SIEGRIST

2018 (Leinsweiler) Sonnenberg Spätburgunder GG

Dark fruits, dense, almost a bit chewy, tannins are round but still a bit rustic. 88/B-

2018 (Ilbesheim) Kalmit Spätburgunder GG

Perfumed, floral nose.  Medium-light body, dark fruits, again round — but still a bit rustic — tannins, some minerality. 89/B

Dr. WEHRHEIM

2020 (Siebeldingen) Sonnenschein Spätburgunder GG

Good dark and red berry fruit, some minerality, elegance, good length in mouth. 90(+)/B+
