Pfalz strength continues in the southern portion, although perhaps a step behind the middle Pfalz.

Crisp, mineral, white fruits, good structure and energy. 92/A

2018 (Ilbesheim) Kirchberg Riesling GG
Closed nose. Dense, fairly big, some lemon minerality, good acidity. 90/B+



MESSMER

2018 (Burrweiler) Schäwer Riesling GG
Floral nose, peach blossom. Yellow peach, smooth, but powerful, dense, a bit rustic in a good way. 92/A



Theo MINGES

2018 (Gleisweiler) Hölle  -  Unterer Faulenberg Riesling GG 
Power, some finesse too, More length than Schäwer. White fruits, still very young. 91/A-

2018 (Burrweiler) Schäwer Riesling GG
Floral aromas. White fruits, chewy texture, a bit short in the mouth. 89/B

2018 (Siebeldingen) “GANZHORN" im Sonnenschein Riesling GG
Yellow fruits in nose. Crisp, intense, penetrating with white fruit flavors, outstanding energy. One of the finest Riesling GG’s of the vintage. 94/A

2018 (Birkweiler) Kastanienbusch Riesling GG
Lime blossom nose. Expressive lime minerality, usual young Rebholz structure. Long, fresh. 93/A

2018 (Siebeldingen) Im Sonnenschein Riesling GG
Closed nose. Lime fruit, less structure than usual for young Rebholz. Some breadth, but not great depth or density. 90/B+
